Dealing Form
- Mention your Account Number (Refer your Statement next to A/C No.)
- State whether you are the Client/ Trader/ Authorised Agent
- State your Identification (Passport Number)
- Mention your interest. Make sure you require screen price or dealing rate and the currency pair you are interested in.
Example: "I need quote for EUR/USD."
- You will then receive from the Dealer a 2-way price quote consisting of an 8 pips spread under normal market conditions.
Example: (EUR/USD, the first number being the bid side, the second the ask side) "1.3550-58."
- Mention your trade.
Make sure whether you are placing market order or limit order and also new order or liquidation order. If liquidation, provide the open order details (currency pair, open order date, number of units)
Example: (New order)
"Sell 2 units of EUR/USD at 1.3550" or
"Buy 2 units of EUR/USD at 1.3558".
Example: (Liquidation)
"Sell 2 units of EUR/USD at 1.3558" liquidation; open order 1.3500; 2 lots
- Remember: A price given is the dealing price at that time; negotiating is not allowed nor are Traders allowed to remain on the phone until the price changes. If you do not wish to deal at the quoted levels, simply say “No Deal”, hang up and call again later.
It is important to remember that Dealing Desk phone lines are reserved for dealing/order purposes only, and must follow proper Dealing Etiquette at all times.
Note: All phone calls are recorded to ensure the integrity of the transaction.
